The different qualities or classes of kittens

Our kittens will be assessed for 'quality', this in no way means a pet quality kitten is any less of a pedigree Ragdoll, just that we look for certain traits in their type, coat & markings that may present desirable for show or breed, as we search for our next show hopeful.

♥ Please note -

Up to 10 weeks of age, no kitten can be reserved or seen in person, this period is called 'under evaluation',

May we ask folk to please be aware

We prefer our kittens to go to families with time to devote to them as they are such a sociable breed & adore human company.

NB, Whilst making a Ragdoll kitten a 'gift' is very tempting, we ask that the recipient is aware of your intentions as kittens are living creatures and require love and a financial commitment for the next 15 years or more.

Responsible Breeders will always ask questions about you, your circumstances, pets, home, childrens ages, environment, work commitments, if you’ve owned an indoor only cat before etc before considering you for a kitty.

This is because we have nurtured our kittens from birth & simply want to encourage the chances of them receiving the best care and attention, with positive interactions & good nutrition for long term health. It has absolutely nothing to do with status or wealth.

So please, do not be offended. Even if a question seems unnecessary, it actually gives an insight of a potential dilemma that may not have been considered by the applicant, but now highlighted can be discussed as a result. It helps achive a complete picture.

 Why do we bother?

Because we want to promote a happy, fulfilling, long life for the kitty with you. We don’t want it to result in a rescue centre admission, kitten becoming unwell, undesirable habits forming through stress or diet, or a lost, stolen or run over kitty. I do hope this better explains.

Our Application Form process

We usually only reply to application forms once we have available kittens and once they have received their first vaccinations & health check. This is to allow us time to assess if any are of show quality & to ensure only healthy kittens are offered for adoption.

If you're in doubt as to the success of your application, we are more than happy to respond to an email requesting we look over it prior to kittens being 10 weeks, should you feel your home environment or working hours need consideration. Also, we do not allow folk to visit us prior to the 10 weeks, so as to avoid cross-contamination and protect any kittens vulnerable immune system. Covid19 restrictions permitting.
